Product Care & Repair

All our silver jewelries are Hallmark 925 sterling silver which is 92.5% silver and 7.5% a blend of other noble metals. Silver has board spectrum antimicrobial action against various bacteria, fungi and viruses making it very safe to wear. All our silver jewelries are nickel free!

Silver does however oxidize, a process by which when silver reacts with oxygen it forms a black patina but in the case of 925 sterling silver the process is much slower. If you wear your silver jewelry regularly it will not get tarnished easily as the oils from your body form a barrier which prevents it from being oxidized. Also, corrosion in sterling silver may take place when the jewelry piece gets in contact with salty solution or chemicals. Therefore, it’s important to avoid spraying perfume and other beauty products directly on it or taking it off before going into the pool.
Silver is also one of the easiest jewelry to clean.

Tip 1 – Fill a heat-proof bowl with hot water. Add two teaspoons of kosher salt and ¼ cup of baking soda and mix well. Put your silver jewelry in the water and let them sit for a few minutes. Carefully remove the silver jewelry and lay them on a paper towel or absorbent cloth to dry. Use a polishing cloth when they are dry for extra shine.

Tip 2 – Gently polish your jewelry with any silver polishing cloth and it will look like new again.

Tip 3 – Simply wipe down the jewelry with a soft cloth for a quick clean.
