Hand-Painted Peacock Feather Silk Dress

Crafted from georgette silk, this dress features expressive hand-painted textile artwork inspired by peacock feathers, its layered tones of green built up with subtle depth to reflect the movement and character of the natural form. The flowy, semi-fitted silhouette offers ease through its fluid drape, while a round neck with notch introduces a clean focal point. A visit to Jaipur’s City Palace, where painted peacocks frame one of its ornate doorways, became the starting point for this design.Inspired by their layered plumage and sweeping movement, the designer created an original fluid artwork in tones of green and blue. Our artisans then translated the artwork onto georgette silk through freehand pigment painting, allowing it to flow naturally across the dress.
