Paisley Ciambella Earrings

Crafted from hallmarked 925 sterling silver with gold plating, these earrings carry a detailed paisley design worked in blue enamel. The enamel is applied by hand over House of Alkara's original artwork, and a subtle 18K gold polish outlines the pattern.

A delicate Blue Topaz adds a refined sparkle at the surface, catching light against the flat depth of the enamel. At L 3.5cm and W 1.75cm, the paisley silhouette stays legible without weighing on the ear.

As Ciambella earrings, the closed form carries meanings of loyalty, unity and continuity, reflecting the perpetual cycle of life. The blue reads as calmness and wisdom, the gold as elegance.

Inspired by Ravello's painted ceramic art, this paisley Ciambella carries hand-applied blue enamel and Blue Topaz over gold-plated silver, its closed form speaking of loyalty, unity and continuity.

The design draws on Ravello, a town on Italy's Amalfi coast celebrated for its ceramic art, where painted blue patterns have been part of the local hand for generations. Those traditional ceramic motifs are reinterpreted here as a paisley silhouette in hand-applied blue enamel, based on House of Alkara's original artwork. The Ciambella form adds its own meaning of loyalty, unity and continuity. Heritage artistry and contemporary wearable design meet in a single piece.
